Afnan Altimimi is a Portland-based creative leading creative for Nike Football (Soccer), where he shapes the voice of global campaigns and defines how sport is told through brand. He specializes in campaign ideation, headline development, and narrative storytelling—both on deck and on screen.
His storytelling spans product, athlete, and culture—building narratives for some of the world’s most iconic names: LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Jr., Kyrie Irving, Drake, Mike Posner, Sabrina Ionescu and more,
Afnan has contributed to Nike’s most visible moments, including the brand’s partnership with Roblox to launch LeBron James’ appearance in-game, the 2024 Air Max Day campaign introducing the Air Max Dn, and a range of high-impact Kobe Bryant campaigns, including the Kobe Girl Dad, Mambacita, and Mambacita Sweet 16.
In product storytelling, he helped name the Nike G.T. Hustle 2, Sabrina United as well as three LeBron XIX colorways: Royal Fortress, Coastal Crown, and King’s Flag.
His voice has appeared across Nike’s digital ecosystem—writing social and editorial content for @nike, @nikefootball @nikebasketball—and in the voices of athletes themselves across major brand and personal channels.
Outside of brand work, Afnan’s creativity spans entertainment and performance—most notably his spec script for FX’s Atlanta as part of NBC’s Writers on the Verge program. He's written stand-up comedy, sketch material, monologues, and as a singer-songwriter, he’s written and recorded hundreds of original songs.
